Mungo and Co designs, makes, and supplies bespoke wooden furniture and handcrafted wooden gifts across the United Kingdom.
All our products are produced to a high standard using quality materials and traditional craftsmanship.

2. Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with its proper functioning.
We reserve the right to update our website, products, and terms without prior notice.

3. Products & Descriptions

We strive to present accurate product descriptions, dimensions, and images.
However, because we work with natural solid wood, variations in colour, texture, grain, and small natural imperfections are entirely normal and not considered defects.

For bespoke designs, final products may differ slightly from digital mock-ups or sketches due to natural material characteristics and handmade processes.

4. Ordering

By placing an order, you confirm that:

You are over 18 years of age
All information you provide is accurate
You are legally capable of entering into a contract

Once an order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation.
For bespoke items, production begins only once all design details and specifications have been agreed.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices on our website are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

We accept payment via:

PayPal
Other methods as listed at checkout

Payment must be made in full before orders are produced or shipped.

6. Shipping & Delivery

6.1 Delivery Times

Lead times vary according to the product:

6.2 Shipping Responsibility

Any transit damage must be reported to us within 48 hours, with photographs of both the damage and packaging.

7. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

Mungo and Co complies fully with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

7.1 Bespoke & Made-to-Order Items

Bespoke items cannot be returned or cancelled once production has begun, except where they are:

Faulty
Not as described
Not fit for purpose

This does not affect your statutory rights.

7.2 Standard or Non-Bespoke Items

Standard items may be returned within 14 days of receiving your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided they are:

Unused
In their original condition and packaging

Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

7.3 Faulty Items

If an item is faulty, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate under UK consumer law.

8. Cancellations

8.1 Standard Products

Orders for standard products may be cancelled before dispatch.

8.2 Bespoke Products

Orders for bespoke or personalised items cannot be cancelled once materials have been ordered or production has begun.
If cancellation is requested before any work has started, we may allow cancellation at our discretion, potentially minus a materials or design fee.

9. Warranty

We guarantee that all products are made to a high standard of craftsmanship.

Our warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
Changes in wood colour, grain, or appearance
Damage caused by misuse, improper care, poor installation, or exposure to moisture/heat
Natural expansion, shrinkage, or movement in solid wood resulting from changes in environment

10. Intellectual Property

All content on www.mungoandco.co.uk—including product images, text, designs, and logos—is the intellectual property of Mungo and Co and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers
We are not liable for misuse or improper installation of products

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
