Every now and then, a piece of timber lands in the workshop that's too interesting to ignore — but not quite right for anything we already make. Too small for a board, too unusual for a shelf, too good for the fire.
So we're putting it in your hands.
This Round: The Oak Candle Holder or Not?
This odd, characterful lump of solid oak is looking for an idea. It's roughly the right size for a candle holder — but we're open to being surprised.

How It Works
- Look at the piece. Have a think. Grab a pen.
- Sketch your idea — it doesn't need to be neat, just clear enough for us to understand it.
- Email your sketch to hello@mungoandco.co.uk with the subject line Fire or Rescue?
- We'll pick our favourite and make it. Then post it to you, free of charge.

- The finished piece is ours to photograph and share before we send it
- Our decision is final, but we promise to be fair
