Fire or Rescue?

Every piece of timber has a story. Some become boards, some become furniture — and some we put in your hands.

Every now and then, a piece lands in the workshop that's too interesting to ignore but not quite right for anything we already make. Too small for a board, too unusual for a shelf, too good for the fire.

So we ask you. The best idea gets made and sent to you — free.

Workshop Challenge No.2 — Open Now

A piece of oak with plenty of character and one rather awkward feature: a natural cup or bow in the timber. Perhaps something useful. Something decorative. Something unexpected. Or something that makes clever use of the cup.

Workshop Challenge No.1 — Closed

A characterful lump of solid oak that could have been a candle holder. Steve Peto had a better idea — he designed a banana hanger. We made it. He hates bananas.
